Urstruly:

Sisyphus and Tantalus - characters from from Greek mythology. Sisyphus punished by the gods for learning and stealing the secret of fire. His punishment: to push a colossul up a hill, then push it down, then do it again for eternity. Tantalus (root for tantalize) his punishment: to be in sea water to his knees, above him, fruits of all manner, that evade his reach. To suffer unsatisfied Thirst and to Hunger through eternity. The ``Civilized man`` from The Epic of Gilgamesh (Babylon) - Freedom as the price for civilzation.

Smile and be cheerful - from scripture: (paraphrase) God loves the man who loves his vocation.

Am I on the planet of apes or them?

(assuming that hobyty and author are two different people)

Sisyphus and Tantalus. The eight fold Path and the ``civilized`` of Gilgamesh. I say smile a lot to yourself, then do it some more, till cheerful, eager acceptance is all that`s left.

Poem samajh nahiN ayee. I think it would have helped a lot if you had written a short note on who (or what)Sisyphus was. Your resume is impressive though:)

Forget poetry. Express yourself in prose.

Just a sidenote: Why is the intro of the author longer than the poem?

I especially like:

``But do not let yourself fall in love ...

You always forget the pain of it``

And this:

``Rearrange your thoughts and emotions

to make them look new each time

(and still slide backwards)``

I am recruiting people to join the Hedonist Church. You can either choose to experience the above, or come have fun with us.

``Born in lust

turn to dust

Born in sin

come on in``

Stephen King.

an unintended brazen treat

or so they called this package sweet

a gift of love from God above?

a baby angel from eden shoved?

cosmic `oops!`, behemoth blunder?

what did send my soul asunder?

ruptured johnny? douche diffused?

no charm a egg could have refused?

but shredded veins are elfied back

peesho will purge the raunchy pack...

``...Sad for Candy. The lovely mistake that he is.``

thank u, my little billi
