You have a weird way of spinning the direction of the argument.

You started by making this famous statement (once again) on Chowk--"Pakistan should tell the US we are going to close down the supply lines & get out of gwot". Then you give your same zillion reasons why the US is the big villain & why Pakistanis resent the US.

FINE.

My point then is if you do that, then Pakistan will "own" the war,from then on...by cutting the supply lines. Right now, the US owns it & is spending & wasting a huge amount of human & economic resources. The bulk of the resources are borne by the US.

51% of Americans (including me) believe Afghanistan is a tar pit, with no end in sight. America has got more than its pound of flesh after 911 & lets end it.

Pakistan cutting of supply lines will give US an excellent excuse to say "fine, if you want to cut off our lines, we will get out of Afghanistan...you deal with it...you own it from now on...& don't cry that "you've abandoned us again"!

Not only was the govt of Pak giving itself credit for defeating the Soviet Union, they were so energized that they tried the same strategy in Kashmir. But this time, no US money, no stingers...the rest is history
