okay. here's the thing. regardless of what is between you and the "pakis" and even if we do know now what gets his chaddies in a knot, it is going to be more fun for you, but guess what arjun, na tau tumhara yahan par theka hai, na unka. this is a community here dude, a totally broken one, but nevertheless, we read these taanas on a daily basis. and i am only speaking for myself here when i say that it does not matter who i am, it is sick reading about a Prophet or any man for that matter "raping" a six-year old or nine-year old or anyone. Arre buddhu, I have written this here before so it is no secret, but I came very close to being molested by a man when I was six years old, in Lahore and I am telling you that even if this is the internet, and what someone says about you does not make it true, I do not want to have to come to a page here on Chowk and read that every day, every few hours.
So I, only speaking for myself here, would really appreciate it arjuna, if you could show the slightest bit of consideration for some of us, outside of yourself, and not post that about Mo and Aisha. I'm not asking you to stop being the arjunabot, because you can't. I am just asking you to think "outside the bot" and I hope that is not asking for too much. And since I've been told I cannot speak on behalf of the Muslim community, I am asking only for myself. Whatever is between you and Tahir, I don't care.
Hope you have read this carefully and will think about it. Thank you.

stop being such a bharkaoer, and so childish. This is Mr. T you're talking to. He'll do more than "I pity the fool. . . ." Never mind that he has given you the power to offend . . if you know what I mean. He wants to take it back. Let him do it and go your own way. Stop throwing this in their faces all the time. It's rather repetitive and sick and no one wants to see this all the time. I know I don't.

Saqi Farooqi ... A Rebellious Poet
I have never read farooqi so I cannot comment on any of this. A few points though: your article could have done with some editing. It is a problem at the Chowk FP from time to time and I don't believe articles are read over again before publishing. Just some spelling errors, but when you write of Western writers like Virginia Woolf, please re-check for spelling. :)
I think Farooqi's life is rather sad. He may be a great poet, and I do not know enough about the literary society to comment on what HP has said, but from what you write, clearly he is a narcissist. Did you spend time with him in your medical capacity or outside of it.
Virginia Woolf may not have wanted therapy, but with her condition, she needed it. She needed more medical attention, and who is to say she would not have killed herself had she received it. Times are different now. Medical science is more advanced. And Saqi Farooqi should not be viewed in a "romantic" light because he is a poet.

I understand most of what you say; no need to send another post explaning it, or speculating about what sort of 'tarbiyat' I received from my parents. I believe you're genuinely upset and not merely defending a relative or an old flame. You need to laugh because only a real 'lady' will defend herself; the tramps get divorced to gallivant around.
I don't know if this even deserves a response, but I do wonder if HP when he actually responds without a cut and paste will tell you that he is not a brother or your brother rather, just as you are not a babu or a dada.

you could get in touch with Ralph Nader, except he's Catholic, and I don't think he'd take too kindly to advocate safety warnings for the Anjeel. :)

I hate to be the bearer of bad tidings, but you are not a prophet. You do like to profit though from what some of us believe in, misguided or otherwise.
Hope that helps you sleep at night.

zeemax:
Don't you think I know that? I do not think I said that Christians are not wanted in Pakistan. I believe you have misinterpreted me yet again, but it happens, I understand.
One of my uncles was in the Secretariat before he retired, he was a SP, and a District Commissioner before that. One of my uncles worked for the diplomatic corps before he got blackballed, I have other relatives I can list, but will not because I do not need to make the point. . . I know. I am not propagating anything. I am going by what certain Pakistanis have said over the years to some of their fellow Pakistanis, and it has been said enough times, in enough ways, but at this stage of my life, I am not going to say that Christians as a whole are not wanted in Pakistan. And if you think I am doing a disservice to my community, then you should take a look at the Pakistan Christian Post, if you haven't already. Goodness, there are Christians in Pakistan who are doing a greater disservice to the community with their actions than I appear to be with my words. But who am I to judge?
My father is in Pakistan these days. He decided to live in Lahore for a long while. I certainly do not think that Pakistan does not want him or need him. And he is where he wants to be. Where his community wants him to be.
I have said all that I am going to say here at this point. I do not have to defend myself or my community on this website. And the problem with me speaking for my community zeemax, is that I do look beyond beliefs here, I would like to think of myself as part of a greater Pakistani community, and you tell me I should only speak for my own. Well, doesn't that create an "us vs. them" attitude? On the other hand given that I do such a disservice, it is best that I not speak for any Pakistani, including myself. :)
So this is it. I am done here. Thank you for your response. Good night and good luck. . .
and masadi: fortunately, or unfortunately i will no longer be responding to you either. :)

Secondly, you're doing a great disservice to your community by propagating Pakistan does not need Christians or want them on their soil, which couldn't be farther from the truth. For example, Christians along with all other minorities share equally within provincial/federal job quotas etc on merit along with everyone else. There is no economic discrimination, though there certainly is social discrimination at the lowest social stratas in SOME and not ALL ethnic groups. You are doing a disservice by distorting and misrepresenting the truth and overlooking factszeemax:
