Islam as a political weapon in Pakistan

You say:

"That "half nama" is a non issue that does not affect the lives of the very vast majority of Pakistanis and those that it does affect it does not take away from their social standing whatsoever."

Yes, it is so if you are a Paki Hindu or Sikh and even a Qadiani but it is certainly very disgraceful and humiliating for a Paki Muslims who could claim to be Muslims as of right before the bloody 'Fatwa' but now have to submit a 'Half Nama' of being a Muslim for getting registered as a voter even. For me as an ethnic Muslim (a Syed) it is all the more disgraceful to submit an 'HN' to an 'Ummati' to be treated as a Muslim.

It was indeed ZAB who broke Pakistan as envisioned by Quaide Azam by making an earth-shaking amendment in the constitution to convert it into a 'Fatwa' which made the very faith of Paki Muslims questionable, requiring every Paki citizen to submit a disgraceful, absurd and humiliating affidavit (Half Nama) about his faith whenever he claims to be a Muslim. This is the crux of the matter which Mubarka dare not highlight. She (?) is of course excusable as even Fouji usurpers who could though rape the constitution in whatever manner they liked could not touch this 'Fatwa'.

"in my opinion, the intellectual and leftist wing of ppp needs to break off and form its own urban party.....led by aitezaz ahsan type of people.....there is enough know-how in pakistan's urban circles to support such a progressive party.......i think it would do well in urban politics......in addition, it could join up with urban progressive parties, on the conservative side (like pti) and have quite a few common agendas......"

I, for one, entirely agree with you. It is for the young to bring the leftist on one platform but unfortunately the young of today are becoming extremists to the right and even suicide bombers.

No, dear Tariq, Pakistan is a 'county' meant only for the Muslims, i.e., those who 'submit and enjoy'. BB was killed as, in the words both of Amin Fahim and Cheema, she had 'stood up'. We Pakies are caught in a 'Mulla-Military' cross-fire, albeit, friendly. It is the 'Taghuti' mafia which is ruling us today, Mush sitting safe in the Amy House and Usama, Beitullah and their ilk in their mountain holds. And the Chief, in Washington. As it is, we are veritably caught between the deep sea and the devil with no hope to get out except by the bloodshed which may destroy the very existence of Pakistan as a state.

Whither Pakistan?

It is the monstrous, fiendish and 'Taghooti' rule by Mush which is breeding young suicide bombers like the one who killed himself and the most humane politician, the 'Benazir'.

The worst thing is the fact that the beneficiary of this gory murder is none else but the Gujrati Mafia and the 'Qatil League'.

May God help us!

The fact is that army can be beaten only by another army. This was amply proved by 1971 war in East Pakistan. Even Mujib having all out support of the people would not have possibly succeeded in defeating the Paki army without the support of the Indian Army.

O Haider, the Knight-at-arms, you have perhap not met any 'La Belle Dame Sans Merci' yet or I wouuld have asked you in Keat's words:

"O WHAT can ail thee, knight-at-arms,
Alone and palely loitering?
The sedge has wither’d from the lake,
And no birds sing."

We will have to lick the reality. With the amendments made in the constitution by Mush even the parliament has become irrelevant now. No question of taking out the dog with buckets. It is a real Karbala we are facing today wherein peoples' hearts are with 'Hussain' but swords with 'Yazid'. The result to come out is evident. It would need repeating the history of Bangladesh (Our Pakistan in the East) wherein the swords were also with the hearts of the people which made Tiger Niazi to lick dust on this very date. There is no other way to get the dog out, at least either by voting it out in election or by parliament .

t is like a dog in the well matter. The dog has got himself in the well by the grand
rigging by getting rid of independent judiciary. Now you may take out as many buckets as you can the well water will not get cleaner unless you take out the dog. But how to take out the dog; this is the question before the nation. The question of boycott or no boycott has become utterly irrelevant now.

You say:

"And now Tamashah Sahib (post # 77) is suggesting they shouldn’t use Mohammad as a name either."

I never suggested that. It is your misconception. I pleaded Ahmadies' case so much that some people have started calling me a Qadiani. Actually it was only a satire you ass.

You are so perniciously personal and bad-mouthed as though I have 'honourd' your sister or daughter like you believe MM was on another board.

Re: # 74

You should have asked the bear also.

Btw, it is generally believed that some names, Mohd, Ahmad, Habeeb, etc., were specifically assigned to the Arabian prophet by Allah. As it is, why should these names be used by every Dick and Harry and above all by the Ahmadies who are not allowed to call themselves Muslims even by the 'Fatwa' constitution of Pakistan.

Excuse me!

A correction in my previous post:

Please read ' honoured your sister' in place of 'fukked'.

Re: # 81

But the problem is, we have no country, no nation, in real sense, but only army and the mullah, aka, 'PCO+Fatwa', to keep the fraud system intact.
