These songs can definately be classified as the most popular songs ever because no one can get enough of them. But isn`t the tune of Ham Kinaray Par Kharay Hain by Sajjad Ali a rip off? Heard Channo`s music was too. Cheaters enjoying the credit that others deserve.
Living in Fear
In reference to Fareed Zakaria`s article in Newsweek where he states:
``Saudi Arabia is, as always, the extreme, where Shiites who want to get ahead have been known to become Sunnis. The repression in Saddam`s Iraq was also atypical.``
The Shias don`t exactly become Sunnis. Under such circumstances, they practise what is known as `Taqayyah`. A Shia belief, or ritual where a Shia is allowed to act in contrast to religious set of laws in case a situation poses major threat to him/her or causes fights and violence in the name of religion. E.g, praying with hands folded instead of the Shia way of keeping hands aside during namaz. If Shias would turn into Sunnis to `get ahead`, the majority population of Iraq today would not consist of Shias.
``In many Muslim countries there are almost no Shiites. And where they exist in small minorities, relations are fine—as long as the Shia don`t protest their secondary place.``
Shias have never protested their secondary existence in Karachi! How come the terms b/w the two sects are still messed up, even if not on a day-to-day basis? Is Zakaria blaming Shias for the violence?

Shia hatred, torture, killing, lack of freedom is not limited to Karachi. It`s just very brutal in Karachi.
If you look at the history of Islam, ever since Shias emerged or ever since the Prophet died, his family i.e, Ahl-Al-Bayt suffered animosity. And so did their followers. And do date, the problem persists in almost every where that you find Shias.

Problems with Co-Education
The bottom line is that the real world is coed. So, everyone better get used to it in school.
Pretty true. If women opt for studying in a same-sex school because it makes them more confident, how do they expect to keep up that confidence once they step in to the outer world which has a unisex environment? Unless she plans otherwise.

US is funny!
As for Pakistan, a distribution company has acquired rights for the UK which means that sooner or later it will make its way to Karachi`s Rainbow Centre and from there to the other parts of the country.
So is Pakistan :)

Karachi Blast - The Untold Story
``yes, after a few days of mourning and rabble rousing, normality will return, and we will find another blast to keep our attention.``
``in Muharram some khud kush hamla aavar, blew himself up in an imambarga in rawalpindi, he was all over the news with GEO and ARY giving live coverage, it was like a show, then we got a bored and switched over to STAR Plus... ``
It`s really inhumane to `get used to it`.
The cold-blooded people, who immunely sit back, roll their eyes over the news, call it a `show` and make remarks like `aray aaj yeh hai, kal kuch or ho jai ga. hota rehta hai. konsi barri baat hai`, deserve a punishment worse than those who commit such hideous acts. Try telling a mother who`s lost her sons and or a wife who`s lost her husband that they`re going to forget about it (and that it`ll be Star Plus to the rescue).

Karachi Blast - The Untold Story
I wouldn`t say I`m as helpless as I`m subconciously afraid. I wish I could do something, but I feel like a slave to my fears. In a country where fighters of justice have always remained defeated, how can I expect to win against these damn fanatics! I feel disgusted by my weakness but reality is bitter.
And it`s really strange how the majority of the people in this country are against violence, and all of them wish it could completely be eradicated, but the filth of the minority is so strong that the passion of the `human` beings is just killed by the cannibals` ill wills.

Well, even people in air conditioned cars go through the quivers caused by such incidents. Rich or poor, Muslim or Non-Muslim; as long as we`re all humans, these atrocious actions of so-called `suicide bombers` leave all of us depressed. No one forgets about them. It`s just that time and life have to go on. Unfortunately, for the families and friends of the unlucky victims, even time would fail to heal the pain.

Blasphemy
The problems Pakistan faces because of Mullahs are not limited to Blasphemy. Their 50 ft beards have to interfere everywhere unjustifiably. PLEASE stop referring to them as being ``Islamists`` or belonging to ``Islamic`` parties because they follow their own violent beliefs. Not Islam.
``My accusers, the two Mullahs and the Islamist students had lied under oath`` proves their so-called faith.
