"I’m waiting for the day when Bohra Muslims and other religious sects around the world will stop practicing female genital mutilation."What about male genital mutilation practiced by stone-age religions?
This Is For The Men Who\'ll Roll Their Eyes
Us boys and men will stop going to brothels when women realize that sex and love are not the same thing.
I am waiting for the day when women will stop pretending that their vaginas are treasures to be safely hidden.
I am waiting for the day when women will see sex for what it is and stop making such a fuss about it.

The Great Wrong
The glorious armed forces of Pakistan eat up most of the revenues generated. And the armed forces mean Punjabis. So, no need to give other numbers. Just stop feeding the army and the burecracy.

One thing that is more important than getting one`s share of the pie is what is percieved by the residents of other provinces. Non-punjabis hold a grudge against Punjabis because Punjabis dominate the armed forces and the burecracy. It doesn`t matter what the truth is. What matters is what separatist gourps think the truth is. The glorious armed forces of Pakistan eat up most of the revenues generated. And the armed forces mean Punjabis. So, no need to give other numbers. Just stop feeding the army and the burecracy.
Merve Kavakci: No to Secular Fundamentalism
Perhaps there is something that Merve Kavakci forgot to explain. She caused an uproar when she walked into parliament with a headscarf, that is not the reason she was denied her seat. It was discovered that she had obtained US citizenship without having relinquished her Turkish nationality. So, Turkish authorities stripped her off her Turkish nationality. And no non-Turk could be a Turkish MP.
Ms. Kavakci should be a little more honest.

I agree that Turkish secularism is way overboard. People should be allowed to wear whatever they want. The “GupShup” Culture
Time spent on gupshup is better than time wasted on reading (or writing) such a pathetical article.
#Ranjit, I want reunion. (I heard alcohol is legal in Hisdustan, though I might not live to drink any, considering that I am officially a Muslim:)

Kyla, very moving. Imagine this solution: No religion. Lennon got it right the first time. But then we would need some other drug, which is fine by me:)
Sin City
You should try living where I live to really understand the problem, near Ayub Park (Rawalpindi), right behind the Great General`s residence. There is one road that goes from there to the parliament in Islamabad. The blue area is also close to the parliament and that is where I have to go everyday. The general also has to go there. Aren`t you licky you live at the other end of Pakistan.
Question: Why do so many guys in Pakistan make crank-calls?

How can you say that burning books is bad? Don`t you see that reading or buring books will have the same effect upon Salman Rushdie`s finances. So, to burn a book the fundo still has to buy and thus makes Mr. Rushdie richer:)

Why does everyone say Ramazan Mubarek? isn`t this the month that you are supposed to remember the poor and share their suffering. Is suffering something that we should be celebrating?

Azmat, that was one pathetic article. I mean, that was really bad. Your logic is twisted, your beliefs are twisted and your faith is twisted. You talk about the word of God but don`t want to go to the mosque. Well, doesn`t the quran actually tell you to pray (not necessarily in a mosque though)?I feel sorry for your daughter already.

#12 CoolAL, thanks for your reply. But I asked for the transcript of his talk, not some quote from a website or newspaper. I found enough of those. Although there is a high probability that he did make the controversial remark, I must hear it from the horse`s mouth if I am to believe it beyond all doubt.
