Open Letter to all Pakistanis: Bombay, Faridkot and Us

Re: # 85

[Had Kashmir been resolved peacefully in 1947-48 itself]

Jum, it probably would have been resolved peacefully at the time -- had not the subcontinent's first Islamic terrorist named Mahomed Ali Jinnah decided to send in Pakistani fighters in there (so Mr. Jinnah could take time off from pork chomping to offer his namaaz there the following Friday!)-- a tactic called bullying that Pakistanis came to be good at and which they continue to use faithfully to this day.

Mumbai 26/11 is only the latest illustration of that same tactic.

Re: # 83

[those fault lines were created by him]

The world is full of fault lines. But those who create earthquake can not be let off hook!

The damage that resulted from hitting on those fault lines was very much Jinnah's doing and was real. Subsequent Pakistani rulers (and some Indians, too) have merely emulated him in their own ways!

Re: # 77

Jum, that is YOUR spin! I do not buy that.

My own reading on Jinnah leads me to believe he was a magalomaniac who represented evil and thrived by hitting on subcontinental religious fault lines and what we face today in the current predicament, a plausible scenario of nuclear annihilation, is mostly due to the gift from that First Subcontinental Islamic terrorist!

Bori dear, one can not grow live green trees by planting seeds in sand and doing Jinnah-jaap!

Feel free to empathize with stateless Pakistanis like the author of the current piece!

Re: # 59

[Surely you are not suggesting that Pak's leaders are suicidal maniacs. After all as you guys never tire of pointing out, MAJ (pbuh) never took chances to go to jail.]

Wake up, Jum! There are no more takers for Jinnah in Pakistan than there are for Gandhiji in India -- it is only lip service! And yes, jihadis ARE suicidal maniacs. The problem is -- they are not state-less actors, miaN Zardar is!

Woh subhaa kabhie to aayegi!

Re: # 61

Bori miaN, you are entitled to your faith (oh, so touching!) in the rationality of the Pakistani khakis. Unfortunately, I do not any more believe that those “rational” elements control Pakistan’s foreign policy versus India. And I would like to point out to you that while the Communists were (and perhaps still are) detestable in their ideologies and in the implementation of the same – the Jihadis are in a totally different league. Unlike the Communists, they are not driven by any desire for self-preservation, they have a very high killing ratio (10 jihadis killing/injuring 500 in Mumbai). The challenge of the Jihadis is very grave (much worse than the Communists). Those khakis who think they can control the Jihadis are unrealistic. The more likely scenario is when the time comes, it is the Jihadis who will control the khakis!

Re: # 51

[That is why Beej bhayya, the chowk's foremost Gandhian, can speak glibly about nuclear winter. Cos he is safe in USA.]

That is a cheap shot and you know it.

The problems that Indians are facing today were not made in the USA or by people like I. Those are made by the progeny of the Jinnah right across the Indian border. There is plenty of proof of all that – the US, UK and others are telling the same, only the progeny of the Jinnah keeps denying.

Whatever "outsider" people like I say makes no difference in the mindset of the people who are carrying out the Jihadi attacks on India – nor does it make any difference in the mindset of those who recruit, train and control those jihadis for attack. Facts are what they are!

And facts being what they are – there are only two choices, you can keep ignoring and pretending there is no threat (and join the ranks of Arundhati Roy) or do your best to prepare.

I can fully understand why some people would lack the guts to face the truth. After all, bad-mouthing the Beej is much easier.

But rest assured, if the nukes start falling (and looking at the track record, it seems to come closer to the brink every time) – those nukes won’t do so because of my statements here – they will be the results of well-calculated moves initiated by a bunch of Pakistanis in Pakistan!

Just like the killings of “Direct Action Day” was a well-calculated move by the baap of Pakistan!

Re: # 51

Good idea, Jum. I will start digging some stuff wherever I can find it.

What I find incredible is that Indian leaders who are saddled with a failing state of neighbor with nukes who is following a well-rehearsed and carefully prepared plan for trying to break up India through the use of its jihadi proxies (and the willing help of Indian partners like Mr. Antulay), have not given the matter any thought.

It is as if they believe that if they pretend hard enough -- Pakistanis will change their policies and mindset! There is no likelihood of that. In fact, the Pakistani civilian leaders have a track record of trying to outdo each other in who can snub India more. Why would they change anything when -- from their perspective, things are working exactly per plan.

Back in the 1950's, when the cold war was on, the US tried to prepare its population for a possible nuclear war. It developed nuclear shelters and it tried to train people in how to respond in case of a nuclear emergency. It does not mean that the US was looking for such an outcome or even expected that there was a strong probability of it. It is simply the pragmatic thing to do and is the duty of any government to try to be as prepared as possible.

Although the Soviet communists from those days had other detestable characteristics, they were still driven by SOME rational thoughts. In case of Pakistan, no such assumptions are possible.

The right to survival should not be only for the rich and fat leaders! If the political leaders are cowards, the average Indians should try learn to survive on their own. They owe it to themselves.

Yasser, you are barking up the wrong tree.

If you wish to convince the awaam to see reason, it is unnecessary. They will see what they want to see (as you have no doubt already realized by now). They will believe what they want to believe. (Hint: some American believe OJ Simpson was framed, some Arabs believe that 9/11 was enacted by the USA, and some Pakistani AND Indians believe that 26/11 was an Indian drama.)

Further, Pakistani awaam is powerless – it does not matter who it chooses as its leader or what its mandate is – the Pakistani khakis will continue to rule by hook or by crook and there is nothing you or anybody can do about it. (It is in the nature of your beast – just like it was in the nature of the Jinnah – that insatiable lust for power!)

If you REALLY want to do something for Pakistani awaam, start holding classes on survival lessons in the event of a nuclear winter – which is likely to be only a matter of time! If and when that day arrives, you can call that the rise of Jinnah’s Pakistan and profusely thank that person for making it into a reality.

[..a certain section of the "local elite" in India, the one that has kept india the basket case of the world in terms of communal violence.]

The person who did maximum damage to Hindu-Mussalmaan relationship in India was the desi Hitler and the subcontinent’s original Islamic terrorist called Mahomed Ali Jinnah – a vampire in human shape! The progeny of that vamp - the gutless band of cowardly muttonheads who, having killed off all their Hindus and turned the rest of their minorities into gutless, pathetic, cowardly deniers (as exemplified by the author of the current article) – who currently go under the umbrella name “Pakistanis”, owe their current economic plight directly to the vamp - that organizer of "Direct Action Day" and the original author of "Take by force" doctrine which was so eagerly adopted by his khaki followers - the vampire which, in their mutton-headed state, these morons deify more eagerly than any kaffir could ever deify God in any shape or form.

Re: # 202

Hamidm2 miaN, let me return the favor.

Stand in front of the mirror...

Look yourself straight in the eyes and repeat firmly...

"Congressman Towns is a fine Congressman. The money I and my fellow Pakistanis have been donating to him is money well-spent. It gives me a sense of importance like nothing else can....except for the sense of importance I derive daily from the gut-wrenching, mind-blowing verbal ejaculation that I spray all over that idiotic web-site! Now THAT is time really well-spent!"

What if it does not work?! Just keep repeating yourself.

You guys are unmatchable in the department of repeating yourself! (When is Mushy-II starting?!)

And if even all of that fails to work, no problem! Just get hold of slide-calipers, bend down and start getting some accurate measurements. There is nothing as good for a Pakistani ego boost as a good set of "measurements"!!

[american dogs have standards.]

I doubt it. Unlike most Pakistanis, dogs are gentle creatures who do not pee without a good cause! They do not discriminate.
