Re: # 16

Shandana, the "old" profile is great. I personally found it very funny, witty and unique.

Obviously, Tahir miaN is highly jealous of your work. He wishes he could write like you (and hopefully make tonnes of money) - but he is lacking the "tools"! So he - like the Aslam - resorts to using the one between his legs.

So, he tries to come here and start talking absurd inanities. It is the same trick this guy pulled on Azra's board earlier.

It does not work!

He still looks foolish.

#36 Tahir

Kambakhat Tahir,

Why are you so "fond" of the Cheema? Calling him a naked saadhu on a board he is not even on.

And BTW, why are you and your Islamist pals so sensitive to the "abuse" of Islam?

If your faith is strong enough, shouldn't it be able to handle it?

Why do you have to go chopping off heads simply because anybody - man, woman, or child - squeaks "I don't know about this!"?

Re: # 14

[What we, as Pakistanis, should or should not feel must be left to us.]

That is what the world thought for a long time and let you and your stupid pals be.

Big mistake! You guys don't DESERVE to be left alone. You guys make the most horrible messes and the world is tired of cleaning up after you all.

Sala you Islamist and your pals - they hold that place hostage - by the balls! Nobody dares to even squeak - because your harami jihadi pals are always ready with that dagger!

One squeak from any of the oppressed Pakistanis - and that sala mullah (YOU) goes:

"Apostasy, apostasy, apostasy! Maaro, maaro, maaro!"

You salaas don't deserve to be left alone! Otherwise sooner or later, you saalas will blow the place up and take the neighborhood with you!

It takes a lot of guts to write the type of stuff the Minhas writes - the serious stuff - in her own witty style!

The stuff that is real!

It is the easiest thing to do the crappy, crappy vomit that you occasionally relieve yourself of on these pages here. Saala, you feel rather proud of that lothra hanging between your legs, not realizing that it is merely your useliess device to hurt women. You saala don't have the reality, nor the skill!

Saala, you are the ultimate coward - you don't even dare to bring up the issue of beating women. Saala, you probably identify with that Aslam creep in this story!

Saala coward, making a pathetic attempt to ridicule the writer instead! Saala, nobody buys your stupidity!

Tahir miaN,

I think Pakistanis should be rather glad that they have one or two REAL writers, instead of the useless bhanDuas like you!

Regards,
Everybody!

Re: # 10, #11

Tahir miaN, she only meant in a literary figurative way what YOU do in real life in actuality!

That's all!

Correction:

"there is no such creature as a kind Pakistani of the chowk kind!"

should be read as

"there is no such creature as a kind Pakistani of the chowk kind! (except Cheema sahib, of course!)"

Re: # 10

Eklavya, if this kambakhat writer is really a 20 year old student from India, shouldn't he be doing what he came here from Chandigarh to do?!

You know – like STUDYING!

Like studying Petroleum and Geosystems Engineering – instead of hanging out with a bunch of useless Pakistanis?!

Not just ANY bunch of useless Pakistanis – but the useless of the most useless – Pakistanis of the chowk kind!

Scratch out the “kind” – there is no such creature as a kind Pakistani of the chowk kind!

Kambakhat gaya kaam se!

BTW, if any of you want to see how this writer looks when picking his nose (come on, you all are DYING to see it!) check out this URL:

When a Knock at the Door is Not Enough

#1 Jum dada

Dada, as usual, you are totally clueless!

Aisha Sarwari never left this web site. She has always been here. She has been “filling in” as the editor ever since – never mind! (The state of typos in some of the FP pieces is proof enough.)

This beating episode happened apparently a while ago. It was one of the “rude awakening” events the author encountered upon returning to Pakistan from Amrikka. How could this sort of thing happen in the land of the Jinnah, she kept asking herself. She racked her brains hard to the best of her limited abilities but could come up with no satisfactory answers.

She felt very helpless that she could not do anything for the lady who got beaten up. She wanted to but when she broached the topic with YLH, he said:

Paagal ho gai ho kya?! Ye Pakistan hai! YahaN sabhie ek dusray ko peet-tay rehtay haiN! Besides, woh kambakhat landlord hai! If he kicks us out of this ELITE F/11 sector, where will we go? Nobody will let us into this sector ever again!

As always, YLH’s words held merit. So the author put the sad memory away – pushed it under that proverbial rug along with all the other dust and dirt and assorted unwanted-feelings and tried her level best to forget it. It was not easy to forget but when you have to take care of three children (including and especially, YLH) it CAN be done!

So, she tucked those memories away and tried to forget it ever happened. It almost worked…

Until Shandana sent in HER piece! (www.chowk.com/articles/14076)

Then, as she tried to read that piece, all of a sudden, it came back with a vengeance.

She could suppress it no more!

What had been a mere nagging feeling – that she COULD have done more for the beaten-up lady– now became a monster gnawing at her insides – telling her loud and clear and in no uncertain terms:

You SHOULD have done more, you dar-poak lady! And you should have never listened to that dar-poak marad!

And she kept asking herself – What COULD I do?

Then it hit her – hey, I can write a piece on it…

And I can even slip it in BEFORE Shandana’s!

So, presto!

Now you know (as Paul Harvey would say) - the REST of the story!

How do I know all of the above sordid, depressing details?!

Elementary, my dear Jum!

I guessed it.

Re: # 681

[I for one would like to learn from both viewpoints.]

Why, are you running low on your stock of Punjabi gaalis?!

BTW, it is rather unfair to call little sis a racist when clearly she does not spare black OR white!

What to say of the blue-colored ones with puny noses!

#Little sis

You have the stamina of a tiger, and the attack style of a lioness!

Those who ridicule you do so at their own great peril!

And you sure know how to defend yourself. And you sure know how to defend that Pakistan - which sure needs a LOT of it so often!

I think miaN Mushy made a grave mistake by sending in those Jihadis into Kargil! If only he had any foresight, he would have sent you and not just the Indian security forces - perhaps even the inhabitants of the valley would have run away!

What to say of J&K, you could have easily grabbed Rajasthan and Punjab on the side!

Nobody dares to face my little sis - without running away!

To borrow your own inimitable words...

WAWAWAWAWAWAWWW!!!

The unfortunate reality is that Christians (and Hindus) in Pakistan are a negligible minority. Their numbers are negligible and whatever there are - have been absolutely and completely marginalized by putting in place clear-cut segregationalist laws.

What such people say or do is inconsequential in the Pakistani scheme of things. Perhaps it is good for THEM that they chose to look away from that reality. Perhaps that is the only way they can retain a bit of sanity.

For sure, it is unrealistic to expect such individuals to express their honest comments on the issue of partition and the role of the principals in the same.

It would also be unkind.

It would be a bit like expecting a hostage, who has a gun held to his forehead, to comment honestly on the negative (or positive) attributes of the gun-holder!
