Three Cups of Tea & Pennies for Peace
I remember reading "Three Cups of Tea" while stuck at Atlanta airport couple of months ago. Beautiful book and beautifully you captured the essence in your article.

Yes Sir I did as an individual to help them. Then to highlight it further I wrote this poem which may appear "silly" to you but carries an important message.
Remembering You
The poem " The Immortal Soul "
Time will bring, the old gifts
Of understanding and assurance
As cometh the rain and wind
In deserts and in mountains
To wash away, the old sorrow
Through mists and its reality
An old essence of being alive
Within you and all around
Time will bring you in nearness
From a loss and of its effect
Through mists of existence
To heal from a pain
Deeper than the Yangtze
Sharper than the sword
From the old samurai days
To reclaim and to possess
What is yours?
And of one that belonged
To the world,
Time will come,
To heal and to welcome
All what a person
Can constitute and offer
As we all play our part,
In this life and moments
Of grief and happiness,
Death only brings the end
End is not for the soul
Lives it forever,
Relies it not on instincts
And the way we see life
Remains In you and all
A portion of existence,
Of magic, of friendship and love
In all whom we have shared
Our moments of creation
And of life, spent in between
In distance and in nearness
As in creation, long time ago
You and all will understand
These mechanics
In parting lies, the beauty
Of not our choice,
Of not our makings
Remain in soul, the old sorrow
Of separation and of loss
Remain in place,
The immortal soul
Of memory, love and laughter!

Yes Sir, if you must, then please do so. After all words are not going to harm each other since we write a lot in abundance anyway. - kashkin
