Maju Anna,
Mallu movies are wrongly stereotyped. Actually they belong to the intellectual/artistic variety very much similar to the Bengali cinema. Its the Tamil/Malayalam partner movie makers who produces those sizzlers.
Sadly, in this period of success = commercial success, Malayalam cinema has slowly gravitated towards the modus operandi of Tamil. But still they are way ahead of other South Indian cinema.

If that happens all the established modeling will crumble before our eyes. In a way it would mean "no knowledge better than knowledge".
Do we have any probable improbables...

Its disappointing to see all the potentials remaining potentials vis-a-vis Tamil industry. Yes technicians from TN are good.
We dont have anybody in the league of Balachander today...The good thing about the Tamil industry is, you dont have to be a son of a super star, director or a producer to get a chance and need not be stereotypically handsome to play the protoganist role.

It looks Bollywood is far ahead of Tamil vis-a-vis quality as of today. Its far more bold and experimenting than what it was a decade back.

akcheema Saab,
LOL...Every 'past' speaks about its glorious past...not knowing how cowardice, barbaric or downright stupid the past's past could have been...
The worry is the violence mongering population is growing in strength all over the world dressed in different religions...

In your zeal, I believe, you are doing a great disservice to Hinduism. Its time you started thinking if you can find any of your claims persisting in the followers of Hinduism today. IMHO its greatly distressing that nobody cares about dharma in specific. Proly most of the animists didnt realize that they were unknowingly pulled into a religion.
Whatever Hinduism you are speaking about, I am reasonably sure, we dont have the followers of that super brand existing anymore. We just have people who are told that they are/were Hindus...
In your hatred towards Muslims why would you want to rejoice in America's actions? Is it part of your dharma?

as retrospective prediction or to put it more simply, its like reading and infering Nostradomus today.
If Sanskrit had been so great we would be seeing some of its practitioners contributing today.

Why dint your Sanskrit mouthing ancestors chose not to teach a vast section of people. It seems you attach too much importance to knowledge which is absurd. Knowledge and no knowledge doesn't make a difference without qualifications. So not posessing knowledge is not shameful.
My ancestors dint speak Sanskrit and so
it is as good as Arabic or anything else to me.

Harish Brother,
I too have the same notion. The caste system could not have been rigid because the interpersonal or intergroup dependency could not have been a vital factor for the lives of early people. Its only after the rapid growth in importance of commerce would we have had interpersonal engagements becoming a crucial factor.
