Another Lal Masjid in the Making?
Posted by VRV Jun 10, 2008 06:06 pm
eka,

U have a strange style putting ur points across. I got it ;)

Masood wanted to get relief from Tihar jail whereas Jamia Hafza cleric preferred martyrdom. Shahada is the MOST important covenant of true Muslims.

I always get an impression u r one. Kyon?

Masood Azhar and ISI i.e establishment are bosom buddies. Secondly, Masood was a confirmed coward. He wont sacrifice his life for Islam.

The fears of the author are far fetched (II Jamia Hafsa) but the Islamisation of Pakistan is a well documented fact.

Who's more important? Al-Lah or his peon Muhammed? I guess Pak momins seem to consider peon as the important figure. It's silly to think that God stopped sending messages after the last peon some 1400 yrs ago.

The last Peon is Great but al-Lah is the greatest.

P.S: Going by the utterances of many Pakistanis (Non-Ahmadis) that Ahmadis dont deserve any respect or status in Pakistan. They better reconcile to this fact.

They have to live like Muhammed and his creed in Manat's Arabia where Muhammed was the pariah-in-chief.

I've seen many carbomb sites (thru media) but the one in Islamabad today is something unique. The crater that formed is much deeper making it the most powerful. Was it meant for Musharraf (Plan A) or Danish Embassy (Plan B) is not yet established.

There're 55 Muslim-majority countries in the world but Pakistanis alone seem to have been hurt by the Jylland Posten cartoons. :( How can we attribute motives to the Govt of Denmark or the UNDP office in Islamabad? Why these ppl are responsible?

Zaradai had that advantage of police supplying gaals to his prison. Gandhi cant have that given by the Brit police. Sad :(

OMG, Yasser is back to what he's best at??

What's the point highlighting abt Aga Khan Palace when that gandoo (i.e Gandhi) never enjoyed luxuries? Neither Gandhi wanted to be imprisoned at AKP nor he's yearned to enjoy the pleasures of luxury. He never even had proper meals in his life during hs political career (chana and tomatoes, ornage juice etc.,).

It's worng to assume that he was in AC rooms of that Palace, slept on luxuty beds and sat in expensive sofas of the chandeliored rooms. It's correct to say that Gandhi also spent his incarceration at Yarwada Prison in Poona.

Yasser, U r incorrigible.

It's pointless to blame the baby Bhutto for her riches and her lineage (Naqsh and Kulharee). She's an adult and we shud judge her by what she believes in and speaks out.

U guys are liberal enuf to give her that benefit.

This line of Ras wud linger longer....

Hari,

'If Sardar Patel had been given responsibility for Kashmir, there would be no Kashmir problem and there would be no Pakistan either.'

What u'd done to the 45 crore Muslims? Final Solution?

Infact they'd done that to ppl like u(s). Glad that Pakistan happened. How u guys always want this:

Very very long but not boring.

'She is sassy and clever, a respected poet and an outspoken columnist in the Pakistani press. She has a razor-sharp mind and a forceful, determined personality.'

I can agree to that based on my email correspondence. She's like a fresh air in Pakistan but wud she ever make it to Islamabad? I doubt it.

Thanx man. I too had fights with Arjun for his inhuman responses but the posts filtered by them is wrong. Anywhay, nobody is going pay a heed. Let them have ball.

We know that Arjun is a difficult person but what's wrong with Arjun's posts 93 & 94? Was it bcos he mentioned Manto?

Is Manto's wife who's editing this site?

+++++

Mr. Safwan Shah,

Why secrecy abt the ppl who edit this site? No magazine - real or Intenet - maintains this secrecy? Have some transparency, plz.

The decision to give up East Pakistan was made well before the 1971 war.

Senna,

Dont worry mate.

++

Lets imagine ourselves in the shoes of the ppl we look down upon. A new world opens up b4 our eyes.

Give others (if we are in that position) what we want for ourselves. We dont need religion or an anciet text to know that. I'd tell the same to Qadianis if they persecute Sunnis in an imaginary world.

Peace.

Bigger landmarks and Smaller landmarks!

There're many sects and subsects of Islam in native arab lands and they are not osctracised there. For example, the Assads of Syria are not true Muslims. They are Alawis BUT they still rule the country without being called non-Muslims.

Get that?

I am trying to oversimplify the 2-3000 yr old shibboleths. If u want me to do hair-splitting arguments on the history of religions, I am ready for it...but there're are intelligent folks around who can do micro-analyses of religous scriptures.

Islam or Qadianism is just another religion. I am averse to any religion and religious dogmas.....I am teflon-like when it comes to religion.

Further:

There're two aspects.

1. Civil rights

2. Religious rights.

I agree that all shud have boh 1&2 in theory. No if and buts.
