The answer is simple.........Hindus even after cultural decimation by momeen hordes have been able to hold on to the 'spiritual core' of their faith in the form of Yoga and Bhakti........for a hindu externalities like carrying a beard, going to haj or saying namaz DO NOT MATTER in order to be a Hindu.....even during the period of destruction and prohibition of external icons and images during momeen rule we practiced our Yoga and Bhakti internally and momeens could do nothing about it........Hindus can live in the worst of situations and yet no one would be able to guage their spiritual depths........that is the real beauty of hinduism that externalities do not touch them and we have had kings like Janak and Bharat who were Jivan-mukta while living in this worldly abode.
