The Tribal and I

Ameem Lufti...

What British have imposed on Indians, which is harmful? Arabisation/Islamisation was always harmful for India, and due to internal conflicts within India states, it grew. Islam has some savage method to grow (Kashmir inquisition). Anyhow, after Brits arrived, Indians grew in several fields with the help of Brits - be it in education, industry, law, civil and military administration.

Okhla...

Yes, all these are problems, but it will go away, if the cause of the problem is redressed. But Islam has very notorious history in context of causing damage to India. Like Sikh problem was solved within decades, Naxalite problem will vanish within 5-10 years.

In 3rd year of Comp. Science Graduation, students study "Complier and Language Theory". Work of Panini is quite relevant in that subject...

In one of the previous posts, I have told, contemporary to Harappa and Mohenjodaro, there existed city in North Ganga Valley too. Now a days, carbon dating had made the task very simple to find the actual age of a piece of work. At this moment, I can not provide you the news article ( because, I have forgot it- either Outlook, IBN ...). And definitely, it was not the work of a false historian.
South Indian civilisation ( Tamil/Lankan) is also quite old. May not be 5000BC....

Regarding Vedic period, people claim it to be 3000BC, not 5000BC...

Arjun...
That is also not for the first time....
These is no point blaming Musarraf. He was public hero at that time. Ideal condition for him should have been to take money from USA and not deliver single bit. Somehow, he was managing this to large extent. But, after Red Moqsue etc...everything broken down, and he is villain!!!!!!
As per as Pakistan is concerned, he should be treated as hero.1999 to 2008 is not very less time. Ordinary Pakis got enough time to exploit US financial aid to create better basic infrastructure....

Do you know that Egypt, Ancient Greece and Central Asia paid taxes at Taxila?

Ans: Could you please elaborate it?
Apart form Persian empires, no Indian empires integrated cultures from North Africa, Middle East, and Europe.

Some of the historians treat China, Mongolia, Indo-China region and Japan as true east (Language and script construct is one of the source, which brings the affinity of Indian Languages with European Languages)-
Like
Pitara (Sanskrit Base)/Father ( English)
Matara (Sanskrit Base)/Mother ( English)

Majumder...
Chanakya was basically from Patliputa. Kashi/Varanasi did not have documented history, but is one of the oldest living cities of the world.

I can not provide you the source of information now, but 2007 or 2008, one news aricle in CNN/IBN stated that some excavations in Ganga Valley ( in current day UP) found a city which is contemporary to Indus valley. I have to check that. Regarding Karnataka etc...there are evidences that metals used in Indus valley etc. was used from North Karnataka.
Much of Indian history is available through folk culture etc...ICHR has to spend money on it. Instead, ICHR is turned into a political organisation, which is mostly driven by agenda rather than finding fact....

It not not number Zero...It is number system itself, with positive and negative numbers. He had started working on how to derive infinity. He was partialy successful, but later, Bhaskara (I am not sure about the name), completed the definition (something devided by 0). He is inventor of decimal number system.
If you compare decimal system with Roman numerals ( I,II,III,IV,....) you can judge the quality of his work...

Aryabhatta- Bidharbha
Bhaskara- Karnat
Brahma Gupta-Ujjain

As per as computational science is concerned( current day mathematics and computer science), Panini is from current day Pakistan.

Not exactly....
Ujjain, Kashi, Mithila, Patliputra, Karnat....these pleaces contributed most.
The habitation in Ganga valley is thought to be later phase of Indian civilisation than that of Indus valley. But recent excavations proves that wrong....

If I agree that, major portion of Indian contribution comes from current day Pakistan, what it proves? You can treat it post arab slavery/islamic period and before that to judge, how Islam have damaged civilisation...

I have often used quote from Will Durant about the catastrope Islam has created in India (including some part of present day Pakistan-Sindh and Gandhar) and to entire humanity (which is still to small extent continuing)...

Izaj....
Pakistan will not get much of the US high tech stuff due the following reason...

1) Tech Transfer to China- the major worry for USA
2) Pakistan administration is vulnerable to be in the hands of Jihadis....

And these worries are not very uncalled for....

USA wants to learn lesson from Iran. During Shah's rule they have sold all the latest arms to Iran. And, when the Govt. changed, they were biting their nails....
Indians are not very much against USA. In any formation of Govt., either BJP or Congress have to be part of the govt. So, USA can trust India in terms of technology transfer. In fact, if India would have sided with USA, India would have seen booming industry in Nuke power equipments, the way India in progressing in space industry, may be 5/6 years later, India will launch US satellites and on behalf, India have to sponsor part of NASA programs....
Those who are talking about proliferation, they are quite stupid. The nuke deal is kind of way ( through hyde act and 123 agreement) they are binding India...

With special funding for arab slaves to visit their holy place, such that they get indoctrined to arab slavery to the core and create trouble for India...

I can realise masadi's pain. If Indians emulated the same "Direct Action Day" tactics (accross India), there would have been 2% to 5% moslems in India, and that would have reduced muslim misery and so called "exploitation".

Re: # 374
Majumder...

Why Jinnah and ML wanted NE states as part of Pakistan? They have nothing to do with arab slavery. Neither they share anything common with urdooo/arabic stuff. NE people are very liberal and decent one....

Creating a country in the NE, without Assam, is quite utopian. If Bordoloi was for integrating with India, then Cong have taken right decision....
