Simply Outrageous!
Surely, " God was neither on their side nor ours" and wont be on the side of anyone except those, who are themselves on their own side to begin with.
As long as we keep sitting facing another alike us with our mouth open to be fed, what will fall in those open mouths is to be determined by the "provider".

First of all I feel that we need to act in real sense like Muslim ummah, all of us regardless of the geographical boundaries need to readjust our Kaabba from White House & Buckingham towards Baitullah.
I am amazed as to how much hope and anticipation, we the entire Muslim ummah places in these two legged humans like ourselves, as defined by a renowned scholar, comparing ourselves to Allah SWT we are nothing more than maggots, yet we look up to another one like ourselves to fulfill our needs, instead if we address Allah SWT and seek with similar devotion there is not limit to HIS blessings while it has been stated in Quran-e-Pak numerous times, what translates to "ask and you shall receive", why cant we turn to Allah SWT to seek fulfillment of our needs?
I personally believe that the principal reason behind our failures and to be caught among the quagmires of world politics creation of so-called super-powers is, due to the lack of reasonable level of iman and the aspiration to seek from others like ourselves, other than Allah SWT.
No matter how differently I feel about the various aspects of the politics of Pakistan but I feel it is high time that we should all come together like expected from ummat-e-muslimah and do our best to secure the best interest as a Muslim nation, bow to Allah SWT individually and in congregation seeking forgiveness from HIM for our shortcomings of the past and seek HIS guidance and support in securing the nation and the homeland. We should humbly seek from HIM to create a love for each other regardless of the many languages we speak, regardless of the several ethnic and social backgrounds we come from, after all what ties us together is Habl-ullah, the one and only rope, the only source that glues and binds us together . We should refrain from hating each other and try to overcome our emotions and anger.
Only once we adopt the humility expected from a believer of Islam and when we began to seek from Allah SWT instead of these petty politicians of the so called world powers, we will be able to accomplish and achieve anything less than that leaves us vulnerable.
May Allah SWT bless us with the abilities to cope with present and future and protect us from the fitnah of people, ameen.

Masadi, if I were to use your language you don't deserve of more than one drop of your favorite fluid and that too should be enough to drown a character like you.
As far as my existence here is concerned that is not to compete with anyone and does not justify anyone's legitimacy regardless of how long they have been here, rather what counts is "morals" which you don't seem to exhibit.
It's time you get over with the fever of your self-righteousness and adopt a language of sobriety.
To correct your misunderstanding and illusiveness you are the one who interrupted and commented on my statement, I did not come to your threshold, if you have a difficulty in following the thread then you should make sure that you do not step on others, otherwise you will be shoved.

Dear Br. Madani
Aside from your overwhelming recommendation I was personally impressed having examined his publications for prospective reading at my own, however, I must say that if this masadi happens to be the one & same who authored those several books I cannot even think about a literate author of that level to act without any provocation in the manner this masadi has been acting.
Secondly, its very hard for me to perceive that reading the writing of an author who otherwise behaves in the manner this individual has been behaving while I had no direct communication with him up until he chose to use three & four letter words addressing my comments that were written in connection with another individual, I cannot accept that an author who chooses to write on such deep topics with the influence of Islam can be inflicting insults and calling names, as this action on part of anyone convinces me that they cannot convey the message.
I am sorry that I have lost all the regard for this person as I conventionally carry and extend to anyone addressing me.
I hope you will forgive me for having to post under the influence of feelings consequent to uncalled for attacks over and again by masadi.
May Allah bless all of us with peace, harmony and mutual regard for each other, and, forgive our shortcomings. ameen.
Thank you so much for taking the time to intercept for resolution.

Point proven, masadi deserves that his IP should be banned by the administrators, since he choses to remain indecent in public has no haya or shame to stop the flow of filth from his mouth. No wonder he has a dispute with anyone and everyone who participates in this forum.

This certainly points in a direction that screams and states that this masadi is no more than an impostor of Muhammad Asadi the author who appears to be a lot more literate than expressed by the language of this subject.
And, if it is him in person than the fact remains verified as the universal truth "you dont practice what you preach", and, when one doesnt practice what they preach no matter how nicely they word their publications it is quite natural that such preaching has no effect on it's audience.
If you load a donkey with all the knowledge and publications it will remain a donkey.
Then again there is the matter of mistaken identity which also requires to be considered by all those suffering from the maliciousness of the "masadi" since there happens to be another individual with the same name who happens to be the publisher of a newspaper from Yemen and was arrested by Egyptian authorities for having published the notorious cartoons about our beloved Prophet PBUH.
If masadi is the author of the books he implies to be, I would earnestly request him to sober up and appear as intellectually sociologist as advertised, otherwise, based on his public disposition I am led to believe that he is no other than a "mossadi" attempting to contaminate literature on Islamic topics as normally expected by "mossadies".
If he is truthfully who he claims to be, his writing in the forum here should reflect so, unless he places himself above anyone else who is part of this forum.
Humility and behavior on his part in future will testify for his consideration.
I wish the real Muhammad A Asadi well.

No matter what masadi suffers from a person whom he advertises to be, would be rather elaborate and appropriately disciplined and may not have the time that this masadi we encounter seems to afford, implying his presence in this forum to be necessary in the given manner he choses to, while embarking on petty inarticulate exploitations. This certainly points in a direction that screams and states that this masadi is no more than an impostor of Muhammad Asadi the author who appears to be a lot more literate than expressed by the language of this subject.

His language suggests that people keep him more than a 10 foot pole away and such a rotten creature is not allowed to contaminate a discussion forum.
Whatever term he uses to blame the Chowk administration but they perfectly seem to understand as to what contaminates this place and if not altogether they have done something to keep this contaminant out of here.
A job well done by Chowk administration.

Masadi is nothing more than a paranoid and like others have commented he certainly bears a complex of unknown origin, all he/she wishes for is to advertise his publications and no one seems to be impressed with this hollow vessel that comes with hole dripping away any intellect that nature may have intended to place in it.His language suggests that people keep him more than a 10 foot pole away and such a rotten creature is not allowed to contaminate a discussion forum.

Masadi you are a paranoid and there is no cure for your disease because you were born without any grace and expected to leave without any as well.
Your attitude is also reflective of an influence of "Mossad" it is no surprise you happen to act synonymously.
It is most possible that Chowk administration smells that stink of Mossad when you are around and choses to restric or limit the amount of oxygen you should receive.
Too bad you cant be called a cry baby although you find every opportunity to attack those who don't say ameen at your utterances.
Those who call others "hypocrite" are definitely an experienced one, while if you are a muslim and label another believer hypocrite, if you had any positive points to cash in in the hereafter you have transferred those to whom you transgress, "if" you have any good deeds you are urged to keep transferring those to my account no matter what you wish to label me.

"By agreeing to ceasefire Yahya Khan saved West Pakistan. That was the poison pill that he swallowed. He was not tried because ZAB did not want to further demoralise the army."
Who were those that appeared to be uniformed officers in Military attire of Generals that fought with each other and drew guns at Karachi airport at the return of ZAB from UNO as they placed him in power?
Demoralize someone without morality !! sounds strange and out of place, at the outset when Yahya's declaration of war was broadcast on the radio & TV, that animal was already in a drunken state as he uttered some arabic from the scripture.
I still recall the day when Karachi TV during ZAB's era mistakenly placed a recording of Yahya's broadcast on air some over 1-2 years later after the fall of Dhaka and within moments angry citizens were found instantly protesting at the gates of Pak TV and this was after the nightfall.
He should have been instantly deprived of breathing further that very moment, but, that is subject to how sober the generals that were surrounding him at the time were, that took orders from him. Not to mention who was "Aqleem Akhter Rani"? that question still remains open for an answer from qualified individuals with understanding of Yahya era.
Pavocavalry no matter what, I like the way you write without being disgraceful to other commentators who may chose to differ from your point of view.

I should have read a little more before posting my comments, that would have definitely saved ink & paper for chowk that I spent by posting mine.
I thought I am the only odd one who is being a paranoid and believes in mutual regard, a civil attitude and coexistence to be some of the pillars among others to securely hold the roof of democracy in place, but your post definitely provides fortification to my thoughts and while I second your opinion on the methods & practices of some less than civilized members of society samples of which we often come across here in the Chowk, I would like to say -Ditto- to support call for reasonableness as stated in your post.
Thank you so much for holding a civilized demeanor & posture even when dealing with below the belt attacks of those who chose might is right principle and adopt it as their method of democracy.

Back to square one, "You are what you speak", this is exactly what justifies the absence of a democratic system in Pakistan, inflicting personal insults, being disregardful to others, i.e. prevailing in an anti-social state. It takes a lot to carry out a conversation, but that is for the civilized societies other than such typical Pakistanis who chose to indulge in a personal level of squabble, those who do not know how to engage in a conversation and be able to agree to disagree.
Until majority of such a nation learns to carry out a civilized conversation while holding on to their ground and debating their point, no matter what, democracy will not and cannot exist or prevail in Pakistan. The only thing that works is based on the theory of might is right and it is so evident like daylight.
It is therefore highly recommended that those interested in a democratic system should first learn to spell democracy.

Did he kidnap and later got married to a colleague's daughter as in the case of Mumtaz Bhutto & the daughter of Abdul Waheed Katpar? Did he drive a large format model of Mercedes Benz on the wrong side of the road while authorities watched as in the case of Asif Zardari anxious to kiss his bride while she was in a motorcade?
Did he steal from the nation's treasury and buy his wife diamond jewelry as in the case of Zardari & (late) BB?
Did he conspire to sell sugar on account of his personal business to India while Pak forces were engaged in Kargil as in the case of Nawaz Not-So-Sharieff.
It is rather easier for anyone to point fingers and blame others, while every one of us Pakistanis owe it to the homeland that the ask and question themselves as to what they took from Pakistan and what they gave the homeland.
We dont even have the decency to dispose our domestic trash appropriately, rather we sweep it out in the streets to imagine that our home is clean while we cause a nuisance for the image of our nation.
Until and unless everyone of us begins to assess themselves for their wrong doings and shortcomings this nation of ours will not straighten out.
The principle reason majority of people support a candidate to national offices is only to seek their aid for personal matters once they are elected. Aren't we all sly?
When there was Agartala conspiracy Sheikh Mujib went to jail and was under trial for treason, who campaigned for his release? wasn't it ZAB? When Sh. Mujeeb got majority vote who denied him the right to rule, wasn't it ZAB?
Who took over the power in Pakistan after demise of East Pakistan? and from whom? Wasnt it Gen. Agha M. Yahya Khan who declared war in a drunk state? wasnt it the same Yahya Khan who lost one of the two limbs of Pakistan? Wasnt it ZAB who took power after Yahya, wasnt it ZAB who ignored and took no action against the traitor Yahya who was having fun with General Rani the reknowned whatever from across the border towards East of Pakistan? if someone should have been hung publicly it is the traitor Yahya and it was ZAB's duty to the nation to carry out this punishment.

How conveniently you suggest that, "Musharraf is a mean mortal." Did he steal from the homeland like the returning contractors of Pak politics? did he involve in any immoral acts such as Mustafa Khar?Did he kidnap and later got married to a colleague's daughter as in the case of Mumtaz Bhutto & the daughter of Abdul Waheed Katpar? Did he drive a large format model of Mercedes Benz on the wrong side of the road while authorities watched as in the case of Asif Zardari anxious to kiss his bride while she was in a motorcade?

Pakistani Adoptions
I would like to add just a little here, under the Pakistani Laws it is assumed that adoption is forbidden under the laws of the country and under the Islamic rules; it is not so.
There are two variations when we discuss adoption in western world as compared to adoption in Islamic countries.
Adoption in the western world is taking over of a child and completely disguising his/her biological identity; whereas, adoption under Islamic rulings is referred to as fostering of a minor, be that orphan or deserted.
I have been through assisting a child who was originally adopted and taken in for fostering by his aunt as his mother passed away soon after his birth. The petition was approved by the US offices of Immigration was approved for this child who has already spent most of his life under the care of his aunt, when this child pursued with the US Consulate in Pakistan he went through all the formalities up to medical examination for immigration etc. towards the end when he was supposed to receive his visa documentation an official at the US Consulate raised the argument that adoption is not permitted under Pakistani laws as such a visa will not be granted, while he overcame this difficulty once I argued on his behalf with the US State Dept.
What they were seeking is a decree of adoption while there is no such avenue to document adoption through the court systems of Pakistan.
I had the father of child declare the details in an affidavit duly sworn and notarized in lieu of such documentation.
When it comes to the reference of Islamic Laws forbidding adoption this also needs to be clarified since Islam encourages the fostering of a child under adoption however restricts the concealment of biological data from the child as well as giving him/her a name other than his original name. The Prophet PBUH had himself fostered a child named "Zayd" but he never gave this child his name or changed his original name. It is very important to maintain the child's originality based on scientific reasons, as the child is supposed to know his/her siblings so that he/she does not become involved in a marital relationship with them, as was reported in a recent case in Europe where two siblings not knowing who they are or were, became involved in a marital relationship and later discovered that they were real siblings by same parents.
Like you have mentioned in your article I strongly believe that if the lawyers in US and Pakistan build a strong case with coordinated information so that there are no variances in the account other than time there should be no difficulty in getting an approval and a visa can be issued.

A Great Day, A New Hope for Pakistan

With reference to your quote regarding a hadith from Sahih Bukhari, I fully regard ahadith contained in Sahih Bukhari, can you kindly quote the reference number(s) for this hadith and who is the narrator?
With my little humble knowledge as I understand the first person to whom our beloved Prophet PBUH submitted to in employment happened to be a lady, i.e. BiBi Khadijah for whom he conducted her trade.
Please correct me if I am wrong in my understanding.
Jazakallah khair.
