In as much as oppression is concerned if you are not aware, I don't need to mention that since that itself is too long a detail, but I am sure you must know a few who can tell you.
If you take a careful look, mine is not a thesis as most of what I have written ends with a Question Mark, and I am sincerely looking for some reasonable answers.

Both of these jack-asses are playing this game over Musharaf at the cost of innocent Pakistanis waiting for "Roti, Kapra aur Makan" all the players are the same level of thugs certainly one of the thugs will get tired and fall asleep and the other one will pick up and run with it.
This is the story of the dirty games dirty people are playing and they are liable to spill the filth along the way that will contaminate the innocent bystanding Pakistanis overall.

Nawaz(not so)Sharif is playing to restore the deposed CJ so he can put Zardari out of his path and go back to his dreamland, while Zardari is too shrewd and is able to visualize the game NS is attempting to play, AZ is therefore buying time by introducing another long play of Impeachment while in the meantime he can find ways to knock-out NS.Both of these jack-asses are playing this game over Musharaf at the cost of innocent Pakistanis waiting for "Roti, Kapra aur Makan" all the players are the same level of thugs certainly one of the thugs will get tired and fall asleep and the other one will pick up and run with it.

Not that I support violence or terrorism at any level by anyone, however this writing provides some insight about, what, how, why & when of MQM. What justified it's creation and under what circumstances to those who came up with MQM?
What keeps the Punjabis, Pathans, Baluchis & Sindhis from recognizing those who migrated to the Western portions of Subcontinent (by their own label)only in the name of a Muslim nation/homeland and have been a constituent of what is considered to be Pakistan?
Prior to their migration to the territory which became Pakistan, there was no Pakistan, as such they too are an ingredient of Pakistan, or, those who were pre-existing in the territory believe that it is all theirs and those who migrated should be deprived necessarily, they should be stripped of their mother tongue, their culture and whatever else they may have the slightest pride in?
It is important to understand as to what are the wishes of the "Punjabis, Pathans, Baluchis & Sindhis" when it comes to Mohajirs, do they wish to totally eliminate the Mohajirs by blackmailing them with the frequent use of MQM cliche?
It is quite well known that not all Mohajirs support to take part in the organization of MQM yet it has become a tradition for others to constantly bring in the name of MQM whenever they refer to those who migrated from Eastern portions of undivided India.
Should the migrants i.e. the mohajirs be deprived of their rights as a Pakisani citizen and remain under oppression since they are not the son's of soils and they migrated from elsewhere, regardless of MQM and activities this organization is alleged for?

The bottom line is that the interacts, posts & discussions on this site are representative of the level of intellect of interactors and it shows if one is given the microphone to make a brief sensible comment from those who embrace for democracy all the time even in their sleep all they utter is "democracy" demonstrate what can be termed as "greatest mockery of democracy" since they go to below the lowest level of what one can expect people aspiring for democracy.
And then there was The Impeachment Issue…
n the current setup Mush is a nobody, he wrote his resignation the day he took off his uniform and it was accepted the day BB was murdered. This impeachment has different meanings for different people, for the leader of Punjab (NS) its vendetta, payback. For AZ, Mr. 10% just another deal he has to make to keep his empire running. You have correctly identified the real issue ie the Pak army or establishment continued interference in political affairs. Will that change? I doubt it very much.
rf786 that is pure truth, no one changes in Pakistan for good and it will not happen, it's pure vendetta on part of [N(not so)S], while AZ would like to progress to larger than 10% numbers as he feels restrained while the NRO pioneer is still around! I have serious doubts about anything positive or improved.

Jessica Lynch Speaks Out on False Heroism
Read all about it

Former P.O.W. and U.S. Army soldier Jessica Lynch testified before the court in response to reports of false heroism. Lynch was the first rescued P.O.W. since World War II, causing unparalleled propaganda.
Initially, stories claimed that Lynch fought fiercely and shot several of the enemy before being saved four years ago. Lynch claims that immediately after her rescue, she had no idea about what was being reported. She was injured severely, but had no gunshot wounds to her body as was reported.
In her book, Lynch was said to have been raped anally and other war crimes were alleged as well. However, Lynch herself says that she has no memory of the events surrounding her capture.
As Lynch healed, the guilt of her falsely reported heroics ate at her, prompting her to write the book, I Am a Soldier Too. In the book, Lynch debunks myths about her capture and rescue and proclaims her friend, Lori, and her rescuers as the real heroes of that day. Lori was killed during the attack and had tried to lead herself and Lynch to safety before perishing.
The Tillman family, who are desperately seeking the truth in the death of their son, were her main motivation for testifying. Cpl. Pat Tillman’s life was lost in a friendly fire incident in 2004. After his death, reports claimed that he was inspirational, and twisted the truth surrounding his death. His family, seeking the truth, has had several investigations opened, but with little success.
Yesterday, in front of Congress, Lynch testified that she was knocked completely unconscious when her jeep wrecked, and that she only remembers waking up in an Iraqi hospital. She also claims that she never even fired her weapon. Tillman’s brother, who also testified yesterday, and who was in the same Army Ranger Unit as his brother, claims that he was misled and lied to in regards to his brother's death.
After yesterday’s dramatic testimony, the panel has said that they will pursue allegations that the White House lied and used the cases for their own gain.

Time for Mr. Bush to come clean, he and his cronies are well known for crafty workmanship when it comes to conspiring.
Just like the Ex-Premier Tony Blair of Britain who plagiarized a paper of a Phd student and labeled that as his dossier and had the audacity to read it to the UNO session.
British Intelligence Iraq Dossier Relies on Recycled Academic Articles
by Glen Rangwala, 19 February 2003
On 2 February 2003, the British Prime Minister Tony Blair released his third dossier to justify a war against Iraq, entitled "Iraq: Its Infrastructure of Concealment, Deception and Intimidation". After the dossier was unveiled, Prime Minister Blair told the House of Commons on 3 February of how grateful we should be to receive this information. "It is obviously difficult when we publish intelligence reports, but I hope that people have some sense of the integrity of our security services," said Blair. "It is the intelligence that they are receiving, and we are passing it on to people."
Yet to me, the document seemed oddly familiar. Checking it against three journal articles published over the past six years, I discovered that the majority of the British document - including the entire section detailing the structures of the Iraqi security services - had been lifted straight from the on-line versions of those articles. Academics - including one California-based postgraduate student primarily using information from 1991 - had become caught up in the justification for war.
The bulk of the 19-page document (pp.6-16) is directly copied without acknowledgement from an article in last September's Middle East Review of International Affairs entitled "Iraq's Security and
Intelligence Network: A Guide and Analysis". The author of the piece is Ibrahim al-Marashi, a postgraduate student at the Monterey Institute of International Studies. He has confirmed to me that his permission was not sought; in fact, he didn't even know about the British document until I mentioned it to him.
Two articles from the specialist security magazine, Jane's Intelligence Review, were indirectly copied. On-line summaries of articles by Sean Boyne in 1997 and Ken Gause in 2002 were on the GlobalSecurity.org website, and these texts were also amalgamated into the UK dossier.
Even the typographical errors and anomalous uses of grammar are incorporated into the Downing Street document. For example, Marashi's had written:
"Saddam appointed, Sabir 'Abd al-'Aziz al-Duri as head"...
Note the misplaced comma. The UK officials who used Marashi's text hadn't. Thus, on p.13, the British dossier incorporates the same misplaced comma:
"Saddam appointed, Sabir 'Abd al-'Aziz al-Duri as head"...
The fact that the texts of these three authors are copied directly results in a proliferation of different transliterations (eg different spellings of the Ba'th party, depending on which author is being copied).
The only exceptions to these acts of copying were the tweaking of specific phrases. The reference to how the Iraqi Mukhabarat was "aiding opposition groups" in neighbouring states and "monitoring foreign embassies in Iraq" in Marashi's article turned into a statement of how it was "supporting terrorist groups" and "spying on foreign embassies in Iraq" in the words of the dossier. A mention in Boyne's article of how the "Fedayeen Saddam" (Saddam's Self-Sacrificers) was made up of "bullies and country bumpkins" was shorn of its last three words in the dossier: Iraqi country bumpkins, clearly, are not about to launch an attack on the UK, and so have no role in the document's rhetorical strategy.
Numbers are also increased or are rounded up. So, for example, the section on "Fedayeen Saddam" (pp.15-16) is directly copied from Boyne, almost word for word. The only substantive difference is that Boyne estimates the personnel of the organisation to be 18,000-40,000 (Gause similarly estimates 10-40,000). The British dossier instead writes "30,000 to 40,000". A similar bumping up of figures occurs with the description of the Directorate of Military Intelligence.
Finally, there is one serious substantive mistake in the British text, in that it muddles up Boyne's description of General Security (al-Amn al-Amm), and places it in its section on p.14 of Military Security (al-Amn al-Askari). The result is complete confusion: it starts on p.14 by relating how Military Security was created in 1992 (in a piece copied from Marashi), then goes onto talk about the movement of its headquarters - in 1990 (in a piece copied from Boyne on the activities of General Security). The result is that it gets the description of the Military Security Service wholly wrong, claiming that its head is Taha al-Ahbabi (whilst really he was head of General Security in 1997; Military Security was headed by Thabet Khalil).
Apart from the obvious criticism that the British government has plagiarised texts without acknowledgement, passing them off as the work of its intelligence services, there are two further serious problems. Firstly, it indicates that the UK at least really does not have any independent sources of information on Iraq's internal politics - they just draw upon publicly available data. Thus any further claims to information based on "intelligence data" must be treated with even more scepticism.
Secondly, the information presented as being an accurate statement of the current state of Iraq's security organisations may not be anything of the sort. Marashi - the real and unwitting author of much of the document has as his primary source the documents captured in 1991 for the Iraq Research and Documentation Project. His own focus is the activities of Iraq's intelligence agencies in Kuwait, Aug90-Jan91 - this is the subject of his thesis. As a result, the information presented as relevant to how Iraqi agencies are currently engaged with Unmovic is 12 years old.
When the document was first released as a Word document, I checked the properties of the text in the File menu. It revealed the authors of the text as P. Hamill, J. Pratt, A. Blackshaw, and M. Khan. Those names were removed within hours from the downloadable file. However, journalists have since checked who these individuals are, and revealed them all to be responsible for the UK government's press relations. In essence, then, spin was being sold off as intelligence.

Aafia Siddiqui to Appear in Court
Dr. Afia Siddiqui remains missing with her three children five years after her arrest. A report by Asian Human Rights Commission suggests that she has been tortured to the point where she has lost her mental balance. Britain's Lord Nazeer Ahmed (of the House of Lords), asked questions in the House about the condition of Prisoner 650 who, according to him, is physically tortured and continuously raped by the prison officers at Bagram prison, Afghanistan. Lord Nazeer has also submitted that Prisoner 650 has no separate toilet facilities and has to attend to her bathing and movements in full-view of everyone.

When the story about her missing began to surface and she was reported as being imprisoned at Bagram/Afghanistan, the time came for the FBI to engineer & fabricate and declare "the most wanted woman" as being captured and it had to be dramatized in a fashion so they dont look ugly after holding her all these years.

Female Prisoner Treatment by USA (Dr. Aafia Siddiqui)Dr.

Aafia Siddiqui to Appear in Court
she was detained and tortured for five years without a trial (despite claims of heavy evidence against her) and now when everyone's questioning her fate, the US authorities suddenly find her that too behind the curtain!!! and send her to court.
Quite a fabrication, engineered too well to be convincing.
# 56 A page on wikipedia can be started about anyone and by anyone if it is so convincing try starting one yourself.

India offers Afghanistan $10m
India has pledged immediate assistance worth $10m to Afghanistan following a meeting between the leaders of the two countries.
It follows an earlier Indian grant of $100m pledged during the Afghan donors' conference in Japan.
Hamid Karzai, the head of Afghanistan's interim administration, met Indian Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee during his first visit to the country since taking charge in Kabul.
The last time Mr Karzai was in India was more than three decades ago when he was a student in the northern Indian city of Simla.
This time he is seeking urgent assistance to help rebuild Afghanistan.
Assistance
The Indian prime minister told Mr Karzai he would do everything to help.
"India stands shoulder-to-shoulder with Afghanistan and its friendly people in their hour of need," Mr Vajpayee said.
Earlier, Mr Karzai received a ceremonial welcome at India's presidential palace where he was greeted by Mr Vajpayee.
"India and all other neighbours can contribute towards stability and peace in Afghanistan so that the people of the country are able to get a responsible government," he told journalists there.
Mr Karzai also pledged to continue fighting terrorism "until it is finished".
"Afghanistan has suffered unbelievably due to the two twin forces of terrorism and extremism," he said.
Seeking investment
Mr Karzai's delegation includes Foreign Minister Abdullah Abdullah and other key ministers from planning, information, rehabilitation and reconstruction, commerce and other areas where Afghanistan has been seeking India's help.
On Tuesday, Mr Karzai was hosted by the Confederation of Indian Industry, where he urged India's leading industrialists to invest in his country.
Two decades of war had done nothing to dim the Afghan entrepreneurial spirit, he said.
Apart from a team of Indian doctors stationed in Kabul for the last three months, a delegation of Indian businessmen has also visited Afghanistan with an eye on investment opportunities.
India has historical ties to Afghanistan and is home to some 30,000 Afghan refugees.
But during the five-year Taleban regime, India backed its opponent, the Tajik-dominated Northern Alliance.
Since the fall of the Taleban, Delhi has moved swiftly to re-establish its relationship by re-opening its embassy and offering financial and material help.

India announces $450 mn aid to Afghanistan

New Delhi, Aug 4: India announced fresh aid of $450 million to Afghanistan for development projects on Monday and both countries vowed to fight terrorism, weeks after a deadly attack at the Indian embassy in Kabul.
Afghanistan, India and the United States have accused Pakistan's spy agency of being involved in the July bombing that killed at least 58 people, including two Indian diplomats.
"It was an attack on the friendship of India and Afghanistan," Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh said shortly after meeting Afghan President Hamid Karzai, who is on a two-day visit to India.
"We have agreed that we will not allow terrorism to stand in our way, we will fight it unitedly and with full determination," Singh said.
India said after the Kabul attack that the peace process with Pakistan was "under stress" because its traditional foe was "inciting terror" inside India and trying to hit its interests abroad.
Analysts say that Pakistan is worried about India's rising influence in Afghanistan, the recipient of hundreds of millions of dollars of Indian development aid in recent years.
"We will allocate an additional amount of $450 million over the $750 million announced so far to effectively meet the requirement of our ongoing and forthcoming projects," Singh added.
New Delhi was a key backer of Afghan forces led by the Northern Alliance which, along with the US military, overthrew the Taliban, previously aided by Pakistan.
India is now involved in training Afghanistan's police and diplomats, building roads and hospitals, and supporting trade and services as Afghanistan tries to rebuild its war-ravaged economy, despite continuing Taliban attacks.
The Afghan intelligence agency accuses Pakistani agents of training militants to attack Indian road projects in Afghanistan. A number of Indian road workers have been killed in Afghanistan.
On Monday, both countries agreed to strengthen trade ties and fight against the Taliban's influence, officials said.

you are the person when you were born all others with any knowledge died instantly, leaving you as the only wise one in this world, on top of that you happen to be such a self-righteous that there is not another example like you in this world.
Too bad you are in Chennai, India, if you were anywhere in Pakistan you make the best candidate by all measures to qualify for a free admission to Giddu Bandar, but I am sure that no matter where you happen to be it would be no less than Giddu Bandar.

Sorry about the delay due to health problems, here is one of the responses to your question regarding the Gold Reserves of Pakistan secured at SBP.
As per SBP’s Annual Audited Accounts as on 30th
June 2005, the gold reserves held by the SBP were 2,046,910 Troy Ounces (63.7 metric
tons), which were further increased by 1% to 2,066,514 Troy Ounces (64.3 metric tons)
as on 30th June, 2007.
With regards to MQM your information appears to be somewhat of a participating insider and may supersede my knowledge about the various branches & cells of MQM.
I have never participated with the organization in any capacity therefore my knowledge is that of an observing innocent bystander while the only party I have ever had any loyalty to was The Muslim League without the crutches of 4th letter, all else seems quite illegitimate and riding on crutches.
With regards to demands of money as mentioned by you if that is true then that is not a very healthy activity on part of anyone.
While, with regards to the burning of lawyer according to media reports in the follow up of this unfortunate event I understood that the lawyers and their clients who were burned to death were members or workers of MQM and were discussing the matter of some of their relatives who were being held by authorities.
Perhaps you know better, I do not investigate each and every story released in the media but do know that the very initial struggle when MQM originally surfaced included the reason of the open air drug market at Sohrab goth(F.B.Area) among other criminal activities which the MQM wanted to eliminate from Karachi altogether and the arms were introduced first by the drug dealers and criminals of Sohrab Goth.
However, I know on a first hand basis from relatives who reside in the area that they are being harassed by these criminals of Sohrab goth as the walk to their homes, while they are considering selling their properties and moving elsewhere to safer and civilized grounds, I know they won't be making up these stories just to start a story.
God willing I shall write more as health permits.
You take care and be good.

have a good one, time for me to hit the sack.
Why is Karachi Turning Into a Sell-Out?
I would like you to place your question in straight language rather than 70% Club or Black Tigers because I dont resort to camouflaging and prefer straight talk.
Oh yes, most definitely I admire MQM for their reasons to establish an organization, I do claim Karachi as "my" & "our" city and have no shame in saying so quite openly while I will continue to do so in future.
Why does it concern you?
If so, kindly explain your concerns in detail.
Talibanization is not all that bad either if it is meant to establish the rules of scripture.
The Talibanization which I understand from recent expression by some specially from MQM refers to the existence of the anti-social elements who have been using the jurisdiction of Karachi for their criminal activities such as, taking over other's property by force and seeking ransom to evacuate, drug trafficking, drug pushing, providing shelter to criminals, blocking innocent unarmed civilians from going to their home, armed robberies and looting of unarmed civilians in their homes and on the street, kidnapping for ransom etc. while all this mischief is ongoing since the 80's before the student body (became MQM) on a continuing basis and even happening today.
I know of cases where some of such anti-social activists have recently challenged families with children who were walking back to their home from their elder's homes were intercepted and warned that they were in an out-of-bounds territory.
If your brother/sister/mother/father or relatives or even acquaintances were challenged in this manner what would be your feelings, emotions and sentiments?
Last but least I think this needs to be made clear that I am not submitting myself for any scrutiny by your highness or do I need to go on explaining myself since I am beyond all those certifications that you may feel to be a certifying authority on.
My deeds are meant for me and you may have yours, to each is there own, I repeat that I am most certainly an admirer of MQM and specially since I have firsthand knowledge as to how the establishments of past attempted to demonize MQM, after the creation of MQM there came about a MQM Haqiqi that was formed by certain cronies of the BB govt and consisted of fresh recruits whose sentences were commuted on the condition that they would form such an organization to counter and defame the actual MQM upon their release from jail where they were serving time for criminal activities, while all the excessive acts that were carried out by the MQM-Haqiqi group were imposed upon and made responsibility of the actual MQM. The demands for money from hawkers and shopkeepers and many other criminal acts to include constant killing of members, followers and officials of the actual MQM while the impostor MQM Haqiqi was also supported by the govt. machinery in carrying out their heinous criminal acts.
I have all the confidence that the encroachment by the so-called Talibans shall be handled effectively as their increasing activities that encroach on the civil liberties of others are at a surge, while they happen to be well armed too, it was dealt with in past and it will be dealt with even more vigor should there be such a need again, while the only way to deal with an armed guerrilla force is to counter them in kind and aside from MQM others not under the umbrella of such an organization are also prepared individually and will respond God forbid if there is a need to.
In my case you don't need to worry about my deeds, among many which includes providing the empty treasury of Pakistan with the Gold that the state uses as a reserve to print the currency so people have a mean to be a part of civilized world instead of depending on barter system.
My question to you is, what would you do to such anti-social elements such as these so-called Talibans as being referred to in the media and bought by innocent people like you? would you sit back and watch your mothers/sisters/daughters/wives and other loved ones being challenged by such elements or will you take necessary action to prevent them from establishing themselves controlling as parallel force to the govt. in power?
Thanks for the offer for trying again your question but I would rather leave that unanswered since you are so smart when it comes to speculation. Since the real Taliban are no rag tag mullahs and are much too learned in their faculty than anyone posting here on this site, and the less than literate ones are busy exploiting innocent civilians of Karachi.
