Celebrating 61 Years of Broken Dreams
Posted by Sheru1849 Aug 26, 2008 10:59 am
very moving story of Mr Sarki. what a contradiciton, same establishment that is risking everything for years to support Kashmiri freedom can't stand a lone freedom fighter of Sindh who has always claimed to be secular and non-violent.

It is true that US is ignnoring (not supoorting) such violations of human rights by pak establishment because it wants to use the establishment to its ends as much as it can. but ultimately it is the Pak establishment that is responsible for this and also citizens who feel proud of the progress (super highways, longer missiles, nicer military hospitals etc) made on this blood money. People who enjoy the fruits of this blood money have no right to shift all blame on the payer of this money...Pakistanis are majorly responsible for it. You can't have it both ways.

I once walked into local Scientology church. they sold me stuff worth $500. By the time I came home I realized i have been had. so I went back next day and returned the stuff...but theys till kept my name and hoem address..since then I have moved 3 times and everytime they seem to find out my new address and keep sending me tonnes of literature, read marketing material. most of it is on nice glossy paper with lot of expensive colored ink..I once estimated that they have sent me paper/stamps/pamphlets worth atleast $3-5000 in the last 16 years.

The I started reading Tony's "Awaken the Gian within" 15 years ago...gave up half way through..too long..I could finish that I could do anything else too.:)

few years later I read 7-habbits..I finished it and actually picked up few good things like honesty and transparency in relationships etc. but thats about it...another friend who read it around the same time..he started his own business in IT is now a millionaire while I am stillthinking and rethinking about buying toyota corolla this year.:)

Inbetween this time one of my employers decided to give some management tarining to young engineers and managers...so they hired Dale Cargnegie consultant...it was good..I mean training was good...more than half the people who attended it got so motivated they found betetr jobs outside..including myself.:)

My father has been into medical help yourself stuff lately...Ayurvedic and yoga is the latest fad...he sent me some ayurvedic stuff from India that can improve my brains...I am still wondering where the hell did he got the idea to send me that?;-)

baaki har shai da ilaaz hai except susti.:-)
