You don't know what the word means, Inam. -- and you will never know it.
You also don't know what friendship is, without which all your 'political' stands are ineffectual.
You let all your friends down, I remember all that they said. So don't talk to me about 'togetherness' --

Without Art and Literature, there is no revolution -- there never was, and there never shall be.

I don't know nor do I care who or what NFP is or was or will be -- but I do know I have as much right to speak and be heard, as much as your painfully violent energy has, or Nadeem has or whoever has.

Of all the things I hate the most, is aggression and violence in men, and Inam you are painfully idiotic as well. There is no conversation I wish to have with you -- you don't understand me, nor my poetry, nor my revolution, and least of all, my anti-revolution.

Good-bye, by all means.

you "never right humor"

..a second earlier you said:

"He merely tries to be funny. I hit hard and kill."

Where's your logic these days, enam?

You 'stand by your writing' -- but the written work always speaks for itself -- everybody knows that. Eighteenth century writers can't be 'present' -- can they?

you probably need to stand by it, since it won't do by itself.

And Mr. Paracha is probably an Eighteenth Century Pirate.

but only you comment on your own articles, like the loser that you are.

Enam, 'humor' is not to kill, it is lighter than that. When you kill, its called 'murder.' In fact, there is a great quote by Durrell, on humor....but its for people who can understand poetry. : )

'creativity spirit karachi thing' - is Nadeem's work, obviously not yours.

vohee toh. you never get it. though i did take his name -- unless you'd like to call yourself NFP? jao vapis ja kar parh kar aao. qasm se kahan kahan se ajatei hain -- I only stayed perplexed by this 'creativity spirit karachi' thing, it gets me every time...damn. I suddenly feel like an idiot, 4 msgs ago i had left the world. Why on earth am I still here talking to Enam Hasan? who writes articles and then comments on them with different identities like 'bittersweet mojo'?

Enam, shut up.

"bittersweet mojo? and then you send me an email saying you're Enam what was that? behind the 'veil'?

Your 'way'? Enam, you're going nowhere, except hell. And I mean the NFP ordained hell, not the muslim hell.

Plus, the last message was for him and not for you.

: )

I know my poetry is good Enam. You didn't 'get' it -- again. Are intelligent conversations no longer a possibility?

#85, arey kia keh rahain hain aap, my poetry is anti-revolutionary, and works in eclipses, of orbits it goes in opposite directions, and most of it is for readers that aren't even present.

It is of course the only absolute, that you all hate it, for how would I have fun otherwise? Jupiter truce, NFP.

Jealous of the future; a vote on sed-so.

Great. Now the disease has manifested.
They'll steal all words, till at the end of it,
nothing will remain,
not even the word, itself.
I began something in a city once long ago
no one, no one can replace,
least of all
political right-left men
of whom we are unsure
whether they are men at all.

Not at all tahmed32, for in #58, you said:

"You do injustice to our people who provided such broad based popular support to the"

to which in #61, I replied what 'our people' signifies to me, and I expressed my doubt that you understand what 'people' are, in the first place.

All this 'talk' can get suffocating, like the talk-shows our very own NFP hates to death and all life after.

#62, I hear you Rabia. What an educated comment, i think girls are so much smarter than men these days.

#58, I find it alarming that a 'people' can be understood as a 'political species' -- I believe people are FAR MORE than economic 'figures' or 'political' figures, this hardly defines them. I'd like to still say, NFP once stood, or I hope, stands for something more than a mere label -- you talk of 'human rights'
well airing opinions this way or that, makes no difference to anyone -- go out there, and DO something. Build schools, colleges, live with those who have been terrorized, bring them out of their calamities -- there is much you can do.

NFP is providing a good resource for "BE DONE WITH THE TALIBAN ALREADY" -- and he can spend time and energy on this, that is great. Let him do it...I know I'd be bored in half a day.

So at least he's good for something -- I don't know what you do. Think about that.

People 'talk' all the time, its difficult to DO something. My case is different of course, because my poems are constructed to create specific environments. It is much needed around here, from what I can tell.

#53 I do not feel its a joke at all. Though, by profession I am not part of the government, this makes me feel handicapped -- as I am not in any position of authority, to do away with anyone whatsoever.
I am a writer, want to start literary movements [I hear Faiz did this for his language, for his relation to poetry, as well] -- and in this manner I want to be a Pakistani. Our image on the international front is failing, failing, failing --
Our people are bound in so many internal conflicts, that I can't keep track of even one.

Now, what you are saying to me, is new...I'm trying to fathom it with care. The issue is not over, that's all I'm saying. I fear character assassination, based on a few remarks the guy has made in his article --
He is known for his madness, who knows what it was he was really saying?

As far as the rest goes, politics and corruption goes hand in hand, you trust no one. Nothing. Is all I ever did manage to learn.

Are things the way they should be? Hell no.

Do I believe in or PM our President? No again. The question is what we can do, and I write poetry, and start philosophical debates, we are all good at something or the other. We just have to learn how to make a difference, no matter how small -- for friendship, for brotherhood and for humanity.

#50 Actually I have just arrived from outer space. Its where I usually live, not understanding at all, what goes on around here. Enemies of the "spirit" of Karachi, [this is artistic/creative/free the life - the real life - is always so] are my enemies as well. Are you suggesting NFP is part of the killings in our city? Are you serious? What next.

Though as far as I can tell, I haven't seen any fraudulent activities in his work -- his 'statement' to the world, does not seem to be 'kill all spirit' (that's what blind killers in karachi, or anywhere else, would stand for)

I would love to 'blindly' accept what you are saying -- but it seems to me, its just your opinion. I always come to my own conclusions --even if it takes years. Abhee tak, ye jo Taliban kee kum-aql qaum kei liyei likh rahai hain, kaafi relevant hai, kaafi acha hai, aur kaafi mayenei deita hai...

zindagee kei buhut sei logon ko -- he's teaching us how to LAUGH about it, that's something. We are always so angry these days. Abhee jitnei bhee articles parhei meinei Nadeem bhai ke, they were all about social aspects, media reviews, taliban kei khilaaf --

I can't see what you are talking about -- this might still be because I am from outer space. But time will tell us all, who he is, time always does.
