I am a particle physicist myself, having done my doctoral and post-doctoral trainings etc. from some of the finest institutions in US and UK, including the lab where Rutherford did his first scattering experiments and founded nuclear physics. I have worked on a project involving Higgs boson as well. I recently came to know about this community (chowk.com) and have tried to follow your articles. I am extremely impressed to see the accuracy, clarity and thought-provoking prose you have written on some of the most exciting and intriguing contemporary problems in physics. PS: for someone in this feedback chain, who has written extremely ignorant comments about Quran and the science and wisdom contained in it, it just demonstrates his grave ignorance. It requires some wisdom and intellectual depth to understand a book like Quran. There are books written by Western scientists acknowledging the consistency and wisdom in Quran, including the scientific facts. Mr Cheema should educate himself with the help of those books and some common sense.
