They had also identified the organs ( toungue, lips, teeth, jaw etc...) role in creating various sound. Sanskrit was product of this knbowledge. That is why Sanskrit is most phoneticaly balanced language. They also separated vowel and consonents. That is the reason, unlike english, all Indian language ( offshoot of Sanskrit) starts with vowels and consonants follows later. Each group of consonant divided along with separation between nasal sound, hoarse sound, light sound etc.... Yoga & Pranayama, Ayurveda and Sanskrit is product of advanced research and profound knowledge of acaustics and human anatomy. And Grammar and construct of the langyuage is based on the best linguistic knowledge. Such was these people advanced that, the modern BNF ( Backus Naur Form) is almost reinvention of what Panini invented 2000 years back. SO, Inbred,quality of language do vary. I know couple of top German Univerities ( AWI etc...) secretly carrying out research on Sanskrit and its literatures in monataries in Udupi region.
