Zaheeruddin Babar

Zaheer is a lecturer in Pharmacy Practice at the School of Pharmacy, Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences, The University of Auckland, New Zealand.

His major research interests are pharmaceutical policy, affordability and access to medicines, quality use of medicines, pharmacoeconomics and pharmacy education. He has worked with World Health Organization and Health Action International on medicine pricing issues and has extensively published in international journals.

Zaheer obtained a Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) from Bahauddin Zakarya University, Multan, Pakistan and obtained his Master’s and PhD degrees from Universiti Sains Malaysia. He can be contacted at horizon_pharm@yahoo.com.
