Peter Handley is a native of the island formerly known as the United Kingdom. An Englishman, now more suitably Indglish. He was born into a working class family the second son of a second generation post war national health experiment. On his seventh Christmas he asked for a typewriter, computers not being the
norm back then. He enjoyed the printed word. After a comprehensive education and meddlings with student politics he trained as an educational puppeteer co-authoring classic works for Bun-Raku shows in the north east of England. He later trained in dramatic arts at the illustrious Bristol Old Vic Theatre School and pursued a varied freelance career as a company
manager and director most latterly working to describe the Anglo-Indian experience with Tara-Arts in London.
He has travelled extensively hither and thither and writes terrible poetry, waiting for that illusive novel to arrive. He is currently sojourned in the south Indian town of Pondicherry.
