Greatly interested in writing.Loves to read on a variety of subjects.Other hobbies include singing Hindi film songs (with Magic Sing Karaoke),singing Hindustani classical (done Madhyama in ABGMB system;Presently Member of Music Forum, Mumbai);Cartooning (published them in newspapers and journals; Got a Diploma in Cartooning from USA; Held one-man cartoon shows in Paris and Bombay; Published five books of cartoons);Painting, acrylic on canvas (held seven one-man shows in Mumbai;Was Chairman of Artists' Centre,Mumbai).Written poetry with two books to credit.

Diploma in French.Certificates in Italian, Spanish and German.Diploma Course at IIAP, Paris;Certificate from Sorbonne.

Master's in Physics; Ph.D. in Intnl. Trade.

Worked in I.A.S.from 1962 to 1995.Then worked as Director General,World Trade Centre,Mumbai,from 1995 to 2005.Published a book, "WTO and India:Some Insights".
