Patrick Masih lives (dangerously) and works (as sparingly as possible) in Karachi, the city of his birth, with which he has a love/hate relationship. He’s considered living in the US but is too much of an anarchist and masochist for that. Every once in while, (usually between jobs) he imagines he can make it as a writer, which is when chowk readers must put up with the nonsense he produces.
